Warning: This is a demo website about the features of the Grizzly Bear program. It is IN NO WAY a scientific work and the validity of the data presented here about hieroglyphs is not guaranteed. For truly serious information, it is advisable to refer to the sites and bookss directly directly dealing with this subject.
Please note: due to the specificities of hieroglyphs and the chosen corpus, Grizzly Bear's lexicon is used here in a particular way:
— Grizzly Bear's words are here hieroglyphic signs. They can be found in the dictionary. The list is based on the categories established by Alan Gardiner (article “List of Egyptian hieroglyphs” on Wikipedia).
— Grizzly Bear's sentences are here words composed of hieroglyphs. They can be found on the dictionary and theme pages, as well as on the search page. These "sentences-words" are taken from the PDF Dictionary Of Middle Egyptian written by Paul Dickson (2006, CC-BY-NC-SA).
Font used for displaying hieroglyphic signs: Noto Sans Egyptian Hieroglyphs (Google Fonts)
